Yeah, sorry it's rediculiously late.

Understudies:
Sara Andreas - Brooke

Also, Laura was on as Elle.

Laura: Her acting was great, she changed up some of her line deliveries since I had last seen it in January last year. Her downfall was her voice. When I saw her last it was in tip-top shape, and she hit the last note in 'so much better', but that night, she could barely hold out notes and she went flat in 'so much better'. She needs to be on strict vocal rest if she wants to make it through the run.

B.D Bonds: He was great as Emmett, he made the role his one. My only problem was that he looked like he was in tremendous pain when he was singing. It got really old after a while.

Natalie: I have to give her props because she made the role her own, and she had huge shoes to fill after Orfeh. She changed the role up, added some very new and fresh line deliveries. And she sang the hell out of the role.

Ken Land: He was terrible as Callahan. He forgot lines, he forgot song lyrics. He didn't make the character interesting for me at all.

Jeff McLean: He was ok as Warner. He didn't bring anything new or interesting to the role, and he was an ok actor and singer.

Meghan Lewis: I liked her. She had a very healthy belt and mix, I enjoyed her.

Sara Andrea: This was where I was the most suprised. I couldn't imagine understuding this role because I think that it is so physically demanding, but she made it her own, and I thought that she did a very good job.

Courney, Crystal, and Alex: I think that all three of them are very talented individuals, but they really did nothing for me in these parts. I often got bored and felt that they were just going through the motions.

Amber Efe: She was great, but I also noticed that she is not a delta nu... does anyone know if that was just for that night or is it perminent? Because I know that i didn't see her as one when I saw it last year.

Overall: I thought that the show lacked alot of energy. I often heard wrong notes being sung, and I thought that it seemed very community theatre at times. I walked out very disapointed with all of the changes from broadway to the tour. The changes did not with the with show at all, and made it very one dementional, and boring. By no means am I a hater of the show, because I saw it and I loved it the first time, and I expected to get the same outcome from a fresh and new cast.

It was very interesting because the dog that went on for Bruser went crazy when he went on in the first scene. He woudn't stop barking when Alex put her hand up, and he ran off without the 'tapped in the... mill' line, but it was funny to see them all crack up on stage.

Thanks for reading, and again, sorry it's almost a week late!

Yeah, the tour blog said they recently switched out the dogs because the first Bruiser was getting too comfortable in the role.

I feel the same way about the tour. At times it seems mismanaged and like some people aren't taking their jobs seriously.

That's funny you say that about Cortney, Crystal and Alex because I loved them more than I liked Asmeret, Tracy & Kate when I saw LB on Broadway. I saw it on closing weekend and it seemed like alot of the cast just wanted to get out of there. I was very satisfied with the tour and I saw it the night before you and I thought it was MAGNIFICENT! Too bad you could see Coleen, man she is amazing. perhaps they were tired or something. Well, what can you do, we are all entitled to our own opinions.

Amber is a Delta Nu. You probably just missed her. They didnt switch out the Bruisers, they switched the Rufus. If you actually pay attention, one Bruiser does the barking scene with Alex, and another does the rest of the show. I dont really know why...

There are fewer ensemble members in the tour then there were on Broadway, so some of the tracks are changed. This is why Amber Efe is a Delta Nu on tour even though she had an analogous track on Broadway.

Also, one of the dogs has a habit of trying to speed up his "lines" in order to get his treats more quickly. They do work with him on it, but sometimes he gets a little speedy.

Haha, poor dogs. Poor Margot. You know the old saying...animals and kids.
