Hi, I'm a budding producer. This is my first post, so be gentle. :) I'm going to the final production of Spring Awakening tomorrow and wonder where the cast party will be afterwards. Anyone know?

are you part of the CAST/crew/producers..etc?....if you are not this clearly does not involve you...

If you were invited, you'd know where it was. If you weren't invited, well, then they probably don't want you in attendance.

These are private parties and not open to the public.

Um, would you treat your potential future employer this way? :)

No, but they do have a point if there was and you were a part of the cast/creative team then you would know by now. If you are you might want to call your other producers on the project.

Oh Heaven's Ubercool, I don't know what is more foolish, you trying to crash the closing night party or you assuming anyone posting here actually has any talent or will ever work on Broadway.

Um, I'm not an actor nor do I have any connection in any capacity whatsoever to Spring Awakening. I don't work in the theater industry in any capacity.

If you know anything about Spring Awakening, you will know that all of their cast parties have been (and will be) held in the same venue.

Somehow that doesn't sound like a comment a thoroughly modern Millie would make. re: Spring Awakening closing cast party

amoni ftw, one of the funniest comments I've heard on these boards in days

You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl

"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor

"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
