Oh no! I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I just wouldn't camp out for any show, lol. re: LuPone GYPSY to close March 1

"The question I'm wondering is if they're gonna go ahead and sell the front row, box seats and partial views at full price if people are willing to pay that."

Two days ago I purchased box seats at full price $117 - like I've said, I saw the production about 5 times with discounts each time, so can't complain. Also, the man at the window told me there weren't many box seat available at that time. Now I'm wondering how many box seats per "box" are there? Nice to be up close to see patti one last time :)

there's 8 seats per box, I believe. I sat in the second row in the right box next to the railing last Saturday, and I thought it was a wonderful seat.

I doubt you will need to camp out all night in the freezing cold. I would get there about 5am though.

Do we know that the 3:00 show will be the final one? Would there be an evening performance added?

I've never gone out of my way to make it to closing night before, but I feel like I've been at this one for enough milestones (opening night at City Center, closing night at City Center, first performance after the Tony's) that I'd love to be there at the end of the run to celebrate it. I admit it--I get goosebumps just thinking of the ovation Patti will get after Rose's Turn.

Anyhoo, if anyone knows, it'd be appreciated--thanks!

Yes, I believe it is at 3pm that Sunday.
I do not think they will add a performance, since they are selling that Sunday's performance as the last show.

My only fear, due to the economy, is that they might close it sooner than March 1st! God, please, I hope not! I'm sure march 1st tickets that had been purchase prior would be honored, right?

They won't be honored if the date they decide to close already has those seats purchased.

Really? Oh, I did not know that! Will they refund the money at least?
I'll just keep a close eye on the releases, but I'm hoping for a March 1st closing though. But things are looking pretty bad, economically speaking re: LuPone GYPSY to close March 1
