Despite your claim, your statement is so overtly racist in so many ways I hope you are kidding (and if you are it is certainly not funny). Are we surprised that you have McCain/Palin as your picture? I don't think they need to have people like you supporting them.
This is so obviously fake. I remember when sock puppets were fun.

<< And by the way, I'm not racist. I know lots of blacks. How many do you know? I bet I know more. I also see a lot of black movies and stuff. But in the movies when the kid is black he has black parents. So I don't understand why he this Billy has a white family.
The title of this thread amazes me. If it makes you feel better there was an Asian Billy in London. Billy doesn't have to be of a certain ethic background. But, all the Broadway Billy's are "white", one of them has a darker complexion, but it hasn't been bothering anyone.

1.) I don't even want to respond to someone so small minded and racist, but the 3 Broadway Billys are not black. Alverez has black hair, but...
2.) For all the audience knows, Billy is adopted. It never comes up so just go with it. The pure talent from ALL of the Billys is AMAZING and shouldn't be slighted by stupid people!
LOl! For future reference, such a comment is the first arguement that most closet racists use to cover up their outwardly racist idea and comments! It doesn't matter how many people you know or what kind of movies you watch.... your posts show your true colors.
But I do believe that this is a farce! The McCain/Palin avatar AND the comments.... just too suspect!
Race isn't really important in a lot of Broadway shows. Think of the Little Mermaid. Ariel's white, her father's black, half of her sisters are white and half are black (there might be an Asian sister in the mix?), and her aunt's white (and green). In Les Miserables, you'd sometimes have a Caucasian Young Cosette who would grow up into a Filipina Cosette, and one of the understudies for Fantine, her mother, was black. You basically don't notice after a couple of minutes-- the thing about theatre is that it suspends your disbelief.
But seriously, if you care that much about the race of a performer, you probably shouldn't be seeing Broadway shows. And if you're trying to make a hilarious comedy thread, then you probably need some new material.
