FABULOUS! How many ways do I love Greg Jbara! I am so totally delighted to see him do this. He's a master at bringing you backstage with him and making you feel like part of the family. This is truly wonderful news!

climbing the ladder: "I don;t think we're suppose to be up here."
looking at a canister of carbon dioxide: "Is this liquid nitrogen?"
and seriously? they have 19 people in their pit including conductor? we're having 22 (with conductor) just for our college production of A Little Night Music. and our pit is so tiny. crazy.
can't wait for more installments. :)

No. As I understand it, the main reason he's not is because with Billy Elliot, he doesn't have a private dressing room this time around, and with a couple of other guys in there changing, it'd be a lot harder to make sure none of them get caught in states of undress.
For those who don't know about the web cam during Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the way it worked was basically this: Greg would do a live web cam from his dressing room (with occasional 'roving'), but for various reasons including bandwidth available at the theater server, it wasn't a live stream, but was all still images sent out every so many seconds to a page at his web site. (And of course regular viewers will recall the times the cam would get stuck on one image for heaven knows how long.) But it was fun, all the 'shout outs' Greg would send to viewers; the various cast and crew coming in and out of his dressing room and mugging for the cam.
So the Broadway.com video blog is much better. Actual video footage shot by Greg himself and edited by the fine folks at Broadway.com into the videos we shall see there. I'm glad to hear that people are enjoying the first video so much. Can hardly wait to see more myself. He's great at this kind of thing, and knowing Greg, I can guarantee there's some good stuff to come!

I tried to find Dre's post here but it didn't come up! At any rate, let me say that the second episode is a pure delight. Greg is interviewing each of the little ballet girls (some of whom aren't nearly as young as they look!). Check it out.
I might have forgotten to post it, cause I was half asleep last night writing it. haha.
but yeah, great video.
