With two shows on broadway this season with child leads I thought it would be interesting to discuss. judging by the reaction and reviews so far Kiril Kulish is probably high on the list for the people who saw him last night.
Current Avatar:The sensational Aaron Tveit in the soon to be hit production of Catch Me If You Can.
Kiril Kulish last night, hands down. Followed closely by Madeline Martin in A DAY IN THE DEATH OF JOE EGG at the Roundabout 5 years ago.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
Now what would you say if today I started over?
Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover
And I'll pretend like everything is already alright
And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight
Herbie: "Honey, Don't you know there's a depression?"
Rose: "Of Course I know, I Watch Fox News"

Broadway Schedule
December 5th- Hamilton, On Your Feet
December 19th- Noises Off, Edith Piaf Concert at Town Hall
I personally didn't love kiril kulish last night. His ballet was incredible, but I thought he was kind of stiff and he didn't really comit to the role. Also, his singing wasn't fantastic. Liam Mower, on the other hand, was pretty brilliant
I am not big on shows with kids, but I have to admit I fell in love with Angelina Kelly in ACE. She pretty much walked away with the show. Dalton Harrod was pretty amazing too, but Miss Kelly has great things in store for her!
I also have to go with Brian D'Addario. "She's in Love" was the show stopper of the show when I saw The Little Mermaid. He didn't do anything funny at the stage door when I went, but he took pictures with a lot of people :]
Jacob Levine and Kathryn Faughan(sp?) were also brilliant in Mary Poppins.
Trevor Braun was good in Beauty and Mermaid.
I've never seen a bad child performer.

Kelsey Fowler is by far the best child performance I have witnessed on stage.
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
Danielle Ferland - Into the Woods; Sunday in the Park with George
Afi McClendon - Once On This Island
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Daisy Egan - hands down. She just listens - you know - something most adult actors have difficulty doing. She was always vulnerable, always giving gifst, taking the gifts her adult actors gave her - not the strongest voiced child actor, but definitely one of the BEST child actors ever.
can't wait to see any one of the boys in Billy Elliot, though. Also would love to see Lloyd Weber's boys in Oliver! one the West End.
and finally, I can't vouch for having seen Andrea McArdle, but I'm sure that a career built off the most legendary child performance of all time must be something to brag about.
