Your guess is as good as everyone else's.

It wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, but I can't see a good musical coming out of it either.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

It isn't a bad film but depends on the singing of George Strait to really make it work. Leslie Ann Warren doesn't even sing or dance in it. Definitely a country music fan film.

I went to the workshop earlier this year and was pleasantly suprised. Lauren Kennedy, Michael Park, and Jeb Brown were the leads along with Dee. The book was still being worked on (of course) but the songs were actually pretty good and catchy. 'Course being a southern girl, they were hitting me where i lived. I think "Country" may have potential on Broadway. "Urban Cowboy," it ain't.
It's a damn fine day to tell the truth!
