I'll admit to seeing two of the bombolas on your list Matt...ROCKABYE HAMLET and A BROADWAY MUSICAL.

Rox listed ROCKABYE too, but now that two of you mention it I thought I'd share my thoughts.

Nothing about either of those two shows impressed me except how bad they were. I know each of us might see and hear something different but I still hold that only rarely do bad shows reveal a good/worthwhile score. There was nothing in either that stuck to me. Sure a bad show score can contain a gem of a song or two but one has to be a Porter to pull it off as he did in JUBILEE. I saw a production off-off-Broadway many years ago. Cute, funny, dated, but who can resist "Begin the Beguine," "Just One of Those Things"?

Dance of the Vampires... hands down.
"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."
