It was only a few years ago that Brittany was the only pop music they listened to, now they have YouTube and all of the awful MTV shows that they watch.

I am so out of tune with all those new media games. I guess when one doesn't have kids it is harder to be exposed to them.

Liotte is hella busy and freezing her a$$ off in NYC. Playing in a couple sports leagues, had a volleyball game last night and basketball tonight. Getting ready to go on a cruise to Mexico in a couple weeks. Still with the kids as always!

What's new with you, Brd?

L, my life is basically the same, but my kids are much older and the tuition is 5X. C13 was accepted to C15's high school. They are healthy and happy! Mrs Brd is fine, she looks like a million bucks!

Oh my, this is the thread to acknowledge that Mrs. Brd and I paried WAY too hard last night. Much fun with great friends!

Well we did paried , but also partied! (hung over then typing). We have no time to part ways! My god, one household is enough work!

brd.....what up for the weekend?

It is a ridiculous weekend, Mrs. Brd is at a fitness conference all weekend, the younger kids have a rehearsal and then a concert tomorrow night; cheer tryouts, a birthday party, two for a sleepover, and Mrs. Brd will be gone all day Saturday and Sunday! So, I have to shop, clean, laundry! It will be a fun filled weekend!

What about you? Brunch and then surfing?

LOL. No. No surfing. No lunch either. Working straight till5 and then meeting up with some friends for happy hour. Seeing Ain't Misbehaving tomorrow night. ( no.. not the Ruben Studdard version).

Mrs. Brd and I meet a friend for a few drinks later. It will depend upon whether his wretched wife is in town!

Seen any Chicago theater lately?

Not much, the Rent tour, closing Wicked, and a great local Miss Saigon. I missed the Chorus Line tour - we were in Florda. I have not been to the Steppenwolf in years. I have tickets for Mary Poppins, I also need to see Million Dollar Quartet, which has received great reviews.

You went to the Wicked closing performance? I have a friend working the Poppins tour. They seem to be having a good time.

The family went to the Wicked closing show, it was a lot of fun. The kids were a little nostalgic!

Poppins seems to be selling well. It is in a nice theater. I frequent the bar next door sometimes.

Poppins is coming to LA.. with the same leads. My friend Michael Gagliardi works on the flying rig. He has sent me some incredible footage( technical stuff). From what I understand the creative powers are more pleased with this production than its NY sister.
