Thanks for the link, testing! I have to admit this is soo funny! lol...
In spite of a popular Tony gimmick from "Xanadu," where the fictional 11-year-old Tony consultant "Cubby Bernstein" campaigns on the show's behalf in short video segments on You Tube, "In the Heights" is still the likely winner for Best Musical!!!!
What did I tell ya, all? Pete Sanders..you should have called me and ask my opinion first!
WAT, I still would like to see you jump off the balcony. Like you have stated , if things don't go your way. That would be the best performance of the year. LOL joe

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

<< I can't wait until they announce "and the winner of Best Musical 2008 is...IN THE HEIGHTS." I will be so freakin' happy>>>
Wat... Hope you are right, but all signs now pointing to "PS" (I would be OK with that as well, although I think "ITH" is a more complete package) -- Both NY Post and Times now saying it's "PS"- Should be interesting.
I really hope the Times and the Post are wrong. In The Heights is by far the best musical of the season. Though I'd much rather see Xanadu take it over Passing Strange...hell, I'd vote for Cry-Baby over Passing Strange!
WAT, You know I'm having fun with you. It should be a great night for the Boston Celtics and Broadway. Hopefully I'll be popping some bubbly for one of them. Have fun at the show, and give Stew a big kiss from me. joe
It's breaking my heart the lack of attention Daniel Evans is getting for lead actor. If it's up in the air, why isn't he a potential winner?
Lin-Manuel conceived and wrote a very good show. You can tell from his acting that it is HIS show. Does the performance really garner an ACTING Tony, though? It's barely a leading role--that's an ensemble show. His only real solo singing parts are the first and last numbers with a rap or two in between, and during the dialog he serves mostly as a medium for the other main characters (Sonny, Abuela, etc.).
Paulo I have less opinion--I see that Sunday, but knowing the role I can understand the consideration more. Stew is.. well.. Stew, and a narrator. Tom Wopat's role isn't big enough to garner more support.
So I say it should be Paulo vs. Daniel, not Lin-Manuel.

Didnt see "Cry-Baby", and liked "PS", but agree... would much rather see "Xanadu" win if its not "ITH" -
I just cant see BOTH the Post and the Times being wrong this late into the game
