A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

The Vivian Beaumont. Hands down.

It's fresh, new looking, clean, with a friendly attentive staff that doesn't put up with cell phone nonsense; there are free lockers to store your coats and personal belongings so they don't have to be stuffed under your seat or behind your back; the stage is marvelous, every seat in the house offers a perfect view, and no matter what show is being put on in that theatre, you can always count on LCT not to skimp on the production design or orchestra.

I like the August Wilson, though it's always gonna be the Virginia to me.

And I like the O'Neill. It's small. Homey.

The Gershwin. They have the most comfy seats I ever sat on and those huge back rests. I'm 5'10" and I can full stretch out no matter where I sit also.

Favorites:
Imperial and Richard Rodgers

I just like the physical layout of the seats, especially in the Richard Rodgers.

Least Favorite:
The Hilton, hands down.

The Mark Hellinger

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

The Mark Hellinger doesn't exist anymore.

I too have sentimental reasons for loving the Majestic. I agree with the Gershwin. I didn't like the Nederlander (though I have emotional attatchments to the show), it's not in very good condition.

I love the Gershwin. Its so spacious and pretty inside, and its set up really nicely. The Opera House in Boston is also GORGEOUS.

The Gershwin because it’s huge, comfortable, lots of leg room, and is stadium seating.

And because they’re pretty – The Hilton, The Palace, and The New Amsterdam.

The New Amsterdam BY FAR. Such a majestic house. I know it was a dump before it was renovated (with vines coming through the stage and auditorium), but now after Disney renovated it, its such a gorgeous house.

Gershwin.

anything you do let it come from you and it will be new.

The Hirschfield...old grandeur combined with romantic atmosphere :)...and I also like the way the seating is designed...
