Ok it may sound weird but when I'm working out I love to listen to some show tunes like
"She love to hear the music" from THE BOY FROM OZ "I Go To Rio" from THE BOY FROM OZ "Holding Out For A Hero" from FOOTLOOSE "Everything's Coming Up Roses" from GYPSY "Schadenfreude" from AVENUE Q
Do you have any favorite tracks?
Everybody has a heart. Except some people.
- Bette Davis
Weeeeeeell, I find Ryan Scott Oliver & Gordon Leary's "No One's Gonna Love You, Bitch" to be quite inspirational on the treadmill. Rip the audio from the YouTube video...
"Angry Dance" from BILLY ELLIOT is the ***BEST*** track to work out to. Very energetic.
Also - nearly everything from XANADU.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

"Life is a cabaret old chum, only a cabaret old chum, and I love a cabaret!"-RIP Natasha Richardson-I was honored to have witnessed her performance as Sally Bowles.
I run three miles a day, and I have an ipod playlist of the following...
La vie boheme - Rent Take me or leave me - rent Out tonight - rent Ladies choice - hairspray movie Nicest kids in town - hairspray you can't stop the beat - hairspray what is this feeling - wicked Omg you guys - legally blonde
I am not one to workout, but I do love a brisk wall with the iPod. My favorites are Xanadu and Bright Lights Big City. Both of these recordings help me to keep going and push myself.
If you want to go the full way.. there is a broadway workout cd you can buy. I have a copy of it somewhere that I used to use back in the day... It was dance mixes of some of the best knowns songs. Some of it is god-awful but for sheer cheeze and fun it is a must.
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
Herbie: "Honey, Don't you know there's a depression?"
Rose: "Of Course I know, I Watch Fox News"

The choosing was not...
