Jay, you're the best! I'll post a picture of the Chicago stage doors when I go back to the city.

I need to check if I have photos of the Shubert Theater. But that one is easy anyway. It's right in the alley way next to the Broadway Souvenier store.

Hilton Theater Stage Door is on 43st street...

After the show... they will open another door..the one across the lobby door -the door that you went in...meaning do not go out thru the entrance door...go out to the other door...

After you go out take immediate LEFT....that's the stage door- you wont miss it bec. has barricades....

note: make sure you do not go out to the entrance door on 42 st -so you dont have to make a block bec. the stage door is on 43 st..

The stage door of the Hilton is aross the stage door of The New Amsterdam (MARY POPPINS) and next to the stage door of American Airlines. Its all on 43st St..

HINT: You have to remember: these huge theaters- the stage door is at the back of the theater, so if the theater is on 42 st... its on 43 st...This is the same case as
The New Amsterdam, American Arlines (Selwyn) and Studio 54...all their stage door is at the back of the theater, that's why its VERY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT GO OUT at the same entrance you came in..most likely they would OPEN ANOTHER DOOR- which is the back door...so you dont have to make a BLOCK>

Here's the photo of Hilton's Stage door:

I was thinking about the New York Sports Club while writting my post...lol! bec. I am thinking of working out there next weekend in between shows.... that's why all of a sudden .. it pops out in my head....yeah.. the NYSC is next to Neaderlander Theater and across the stage door of New Amsterdam... that's why I got confused.

Chicago(Ambassador Theatre), not the best image but, better than nothing? When you leave the front It's the opposite way of Spring Awakening, and you can't miss it.

The Royal, The Golden and the Majestic's stage doors are on 45th. If you make a right right outside the Golden there is a big door wait there and the actors will come out for all 3 theatres.

Go down to the box office area and exit through the basement via the glass doors. Walk to the left and the stage door is on your left. Just a warning there is a lot of construction going on in that vicinity.

The Stage Door for Vivian Beaumont Theater at the Lincoln Center is a bit complicated.

First its- downstairs...

The easy way...

The LOBBY- where they sell drinks & merchandise- is your starting point...

After the show...go where they SELL tickets (downstairs)- its on your RIGHT (as you exit ) then proceed to your left...go down again stairs... you will see the MITZI NEWHOUSE THEATER---Go through the glass doors on your right -- the stage door will be on your left as you walk towards the street (underground).

Remember the second door to your left ...if you go out the street - you missed the stage door...

Here's photos of STEP by STEP... (and YES- the cast comes out on Matinees.)

1. Lobby:
re: Where's the stage door? thread
re: Where's the stage door? thread

2. Box Office

( I have no photos- I cant believe it! )

3. Going Down the stairs to Mitzi NewHouse :
re: Where's the stage door? thread

4. GlassDoor on your Right :

I'll take photo of that glass door..lol! re: Where's the stage door? thread

5. Stage Door
re: Where's the stage door? thread

Oh my god! I think I have been to ALL the theater's stage door already! lol!

Hope this helps

Okay - This is probably an easy one.

On Sunday I gotta run from "Xanadu" to meet GreekMusicalFan at "A Chorus Line". Is the stage door for Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre right in front on 45th St?

Thanks for this thread Jay... love ya.

Brooks Atkinson(Grease): go out the doors you came in and make a left and you wont miss it because of the barricades.
Minskoff Theatre(The Lion King): right across from where you enetered the theatre it will have barricades and the stagedoor sign not to be missed. cast comes out quickly, dont get on top of young simba and nala.
Lunt-Fontanne Theatre(The Little Mermaid): out the entrance doors and to the left and there are barricades.
Gershwin Theatre(Wicked) between 50th and 51st streets and between :

First you come out the entrance of the theatre and you go across under the building and when you get to about the driveway of a parking garage, you make a left. the stagedoor is right there on 51st street of course on the same side of the theatre. by the way the cast does come out quckly but they are so nice and sweet.

4/9 8pm stagedoor review sorry but a good place to put it:
his eyes, his curly hair, and, and his smile are wonderful david burnham fieryo. my eyes were closed when i took a picture with david burnham but i will go back one day and take another picture with him at the stagedoor. he was hot and down to earth but so cool to talk to him for like a minute alone. i did get pictures with briana yacavone ensemble, u/s for nessarose & midwife she was so kind and happy to take pictures and tlk to the people at the stagedoor. ben liebert as boq was so nice but i was fine with not taking a picture with him. reed kelly ensemble, u/s christery was so awesome...he loves taking photos with everyone. cj tyson was cool. i saw chelsea walkout but did not reconize her until she waled by but i got to talk to her at this past broadway boys/toys for tots christmas benefit and her voice is terrifc and she was so lovely to talk to. i was taking a picture with ryan binder and she saw me and asked she wanted to take a picture with her and i said of course and then she told me "you are the first fan that i am taing a photo with and thank you", i think it was a week before she joined wicked in the ensemble, u/s elphaba. that same night is when i saw stephanie j block sing and what a voice she has, and so did Lisa Brescia. i was so lucky to have seen the full time, standby, and understudy in the same night. so i saw the understudy slips in my playbill there were three christery was played by brian wanee, witch's mother played by lori ann ferreri, and elphaba played by lisa brescia. lisa blew me away and she could really belt it, but i was dissappointed not in a bad way because they said nothing about an understudy for elphaba on broadwayunderstudies.com that afternoon but nothing changed at all because i knew i was in for good with lisa and i knew she would be terrific. i heard when i was coming out the bathroom a lady saying i can not believe how outstanding the understudy is for elphaba. No body was disspointed with lisa. she and annaleigh have wonderful chemistry and so touching on stage together. she was so nice at the stagedoor and she was shocked when i told her i did see her at the broadway christmas concert and was happy to sign and take photos. annaleigh is such a sweetheart and she reconized me from stagedooring almost a year ago at legally blonde when she was margot. she was not in a rush going down the line and i talked to her for a minute but could have gone on longer but i knew she had to sign and take pictures so i stopped taling and said thank you and have a nice night to her. i did take a photo with her and she is such a sweetheart. did annaleigh ever miss at least one performance yet? even if she did wow a wonderful attendance record. they have a standy for g(a)linda, and two understudies. my cousin did take me backstage after i met the cast at the stagedoor and it was interesting and i was in shock the entire time. he was showing us around and then i saw david burnham doing the same thing with two of his friends and he smiled at me and my heart melt. only saw the stage area not the dressing rooms. my mom even thought he was a cuite. i am a local so i was not disappointed if i didnt get an anutograph, a good picture or no picture at all with someone i could always go back.
