Independent Spirit Awards#1
Posted: 2/24/08 at 1:57pm
If there was a thread on this already, I couldn't find it.

Did anyone watch? I thought Rainn Wilson was hysterical.
I love this show because it makes me aware of some great films I might have missed.

I was wondering about the omission of There Will Be Blood (was that not an indie?) and the ONE nomination for No Country for Old Men. Anyone know the scoop?
PEACE.

I have yet to see Juno, but there was hilarious political cartoon about it last week.

It was a pregnant teenager and she was saying how Juno taught her as long as she had snappy dialogue and a little precosiosness she wouldn't need to worry about the welfare of her baby.
....but the world goes 'round

Well, obviously that cartoonist did not see the film, because the character of Juno care very much about the welfare of her baby.
PEACE.
