I wonder if Joanne has a specially pitched cocktail glass? And does she have to hold it in a specific way in order to get it to ring properly?

If I were the director, that is what I would do.
If I were the composer, and the director wanted that, I would insist on it.

Did Mr. Sondheim?

Anyone have the skinny on that?

Would it disappoint you to know that she might have just banged a spoon on the glass?

I wondered that too. If they had to fill it with a certain amount of liquid to get it to ding a certain pitch.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

On further reflection, I feel that if anyone were to disrupt the proceeding with cacophony, it would be Joanne.

I'm ok with it now.

This production of Company is once again Brilliance personified.

I have never anticipated a show more than this upcoming Merrily. The last production I saw was a seriously flawed off-broadway production that I walked out of early after the first scene.
