I was just starting a thread. re: Company Commentary Thread

This is just too weird for me, to see it on TV like this. Totally surreal.

I hope everyone loves it.

I love that shot of the entire stage layered under Bobby.

Lonny Price should stick to directing for the screen.

This (and all the other musicals he's directed for TV) is far superior to his stage directing.

I disagree. Too many close ups and quick changes of tv cameras.

It calms down a bit. This song is a little all over the place because the shots are following all of the movement.

It's so visually stunning. Which I knew from seeing the show, but as I sat in the first row usually, I LOVE these overhead shots.

I love the direction. I think the quick cuts and such work really well. Lots of creative stuff going on, which is needed, because these shows can get really boring played from wide angles on a little box. Really nice work. Very professional.

Nope, this be PBS! If there are breaks, it's for people screaming and crying for your money. But no commercials.

"did they just bleep jesus christ?"

Just "Christ". When did that become a dirty word?

It's Okay. I just had to run check on someone down the hall in my dorm.

Did they really censor "Jesus Christ?"
