IT SHOULD HAPPEN TO YOU (1954)

Saw it today on a big screen.

Extremely funny. Great comic timing. Amazing performance by Judy Holliday (Must seek out more of her work). And Jack Lemmon in his first film role.

Not only that, but a truly poignant and biting message about fame in our society.

This was my mother's favorite movie! She used to play it all the time when my siblings and I were younger. I love it now, but then I didn't really get it. I just loved the fact that his name was Jack Lemmon.

Do go get more Judy Holliday work.
I mean, Denzel Washington? Gun to my head..of course.

Love that movie. Cruel, you have seen Bells Are Ringing, Adam' Rib and Born Yesterday. Right?

I hightly recommend BORN YESTERDAY! One of the funniest films ever. I don't care what anybody says, her Oscar was well-deserved.

It was a tough year - three brilliant performances by three brilliant leading ladies.

Cruel, you have to see BELLS ARE RINGING and BORN YESTERDAY - her two greatest stage performances captured on film. (She won the Tony Award for BAR over Julie Andrews/MFL)Her vulnerability and sharp comic timing will take your breath away.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
