she was flat maybe 3 times and when she held out the last note she warbled from flat to sharp and ended flat.
The song was boring to me. Sounded like some song that was written at the end of a feel good movie like "Radio".
no me gusta.

She started off in the wrong key, which threw off the entire song.
Which sucks, cause it sound so much better on the CD.

(Of course I would buy that album if it existed!)

I know she's popular...but this offering is nothing "special", in my opinion. The presentation was servicable at best.
It sounds like an American Idol selection when it get's down to the final dozen people;good but nothing to make it stand out among others. Just my overall view of Idina as well.

I sat through all three hours of Today for this and was pretty disappointed. I picked up the album last night and am hoping that she sounds better recorded. I don't know if the girl gets nervous or what, but something always seems to go awry when she sings live.

I agree to some extent to some of the above posters. When she is filmed singing live, she always does sound a bit off. But whenever I see her live when I am actually in the audience(Wicked, See What I Want to See, last night at Virgin), I never detect anything off in the slightest. In fact, I thoroughly enjoy her when I am in the audience and think she is quite great, but these filmed live performances always surprise me a bit when I watch them.

"Everytime you step on that stage it is somebody's first Broadway show and somebody's last Broadway show. Make it count."
The only thing I have heard from her album is the commercial that I just saw (she is in a red dress singing on a rooftop), and I guess I just don't "get" her. I didn't think she sounded good at all, and this is the commercial to get people to buy the album? To be honest, I thought she looked kind of ridiculous.

She sounded so much better at Virgin last night.
I agree- I wasn't thrilled with the song. I did pre-order the album though, so hopefully it is better.
So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
