The Love Machine
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

"Lost Horizon" & "At Long Last Love" top my list.

Also, "Ash Wednesday" with Elizabeth Taylor. She was never more breathtaking than in this film.

Another Liz Taylor film, "The Blue Bird", also with Ava Gardner, Jane Fonda and others. And if I remember correctly, a very young Patsy Kensit.

Hewlett Packard is in the process of joining with several studios to develop a program where any movie in the studio archives can be "special ordered" on dvd per consumer. So if Lost Horizon doesn't warrant a full scale release, you could order a one copy transfer on dvd.
There are a lot of issues still to work out such as cleaning up the prints and packaging, but it's something to look forward to.

Cruel Intentions was released directly to DVD it never made the movie theaters.

THE SEVEN MINUTES is one BAD movie that hasn't been released on DVD. Also, ONCE IS NOT ENOUGH.

The Legend of Lylah Clare: Kim Novak, Peter Finch, Coral Browne, Michael Murphy, and, in a mock tv commercial that is actually good, Lee Meriwether. Directed by Robert Aldrich who did Baby Jane. Appalling and you can't turn away.

And here is a second for The Blue Bird, one of the best so-bad-its-good movies ever made in Hollywood history. Directed by George Cukor no less.

They don't know how to make them this bad any more.

Please. For the sake of the gay children, release THE LONELY LADY on DVD!

I'll second THE LONELY LADY -- an overlooked masterpiece of BAD.

I'd love a release of "Hollywood Wives" the miniseries.

The Betsy was probably on video. I only saw once in the theatre. The scene where Lord Larry boinks the maid says it all.

It likely will never seen the light of day because George Lucas doesn't want it to - but I'd love a nice special edition Blu Ray release of HOWARD THE DUCK.

An extraordinary anti-drug TVM called DESPERATE LIVES that aired in 1981. Has anyone who ever seen this forgotten the image of a blonde teenage girl on angel dust (the meth of the eighties) driving her and her boyfriend off a cliff gleefully yelling "WHEEEEE!!!"? Starring Diana Scarwid and introduced by First Lady Reagan.
