I seached the board and didn't find anything so.....has anyone heard anything about the touring production of Fiddler that will be in Edinburgh in April? Good reviews, bad reviews, anything?

Am debating if we should go.

can't make up my mind. I've seen Fiddler SO many times, including an excellent production years ago in San Diego at Starlight Opera.

This may sound odd, but I just can't get excited about seeing it again....on the other hand to NOT see a production when I travel seems odd........

Tommy -its a different production. Its not the one thats in town now!
The Shefield Crucible production was raved about by everyone and thats why its been extended by 9 months more than its original run. The touring one will bare no resemblance to the show you saw. UK Productions seem to get the shows but their production values are known to be almost nil.

well...we got tickets for Half a Sixpence, as I really, REALLY didn't want to see Fiddler again, and I've never seen the other......although my partner saw it on Broadway in the 1960's
