We have a freaking WAR going on! Do these people have NOTHING else to write?
"I can't figure out what kind of life this is, comedy or tragedy, I just know it's showbiz. And what if I don't agree with the lines I have to read? They don't pay me enough, the way I see it."

They write what sells. And, unfortunately, this is what does.

This isn't unusual. There are obituaries prepared for most celebrities and public figures while they are alive.

Yeah, it's really only remotely newsworthy because of the attention it's gotten. Pseudo-events at their very best.

Well then...

there's a WAR going on! Don't we have ANYTHING else to write about besides people not having anything to write about but the death of celebrities?

Yeah, but usually only public figures who have reached a considerable age.

What if a celebrity dies while IN a war?

Do we have to hear about how she, too, was a modern-day Marilyn Monroe?

Everyone of any note as blueroses noted has an obit on file

Everyone has an obituary on file- well Everybody who is ANYbody. Did you notice- 25 year old Brad Renfro's Obit was up and running in minutes? When young reporters have nothing to do they are assigned to review all obituaries and make sure they are ready to run at a moment's notice.
No good can possibly come from using this vast wasteland of error and deliberate deceit. You should get off of it and warn others away. You should make sure your children and grandchildren know what a corrupt and morally bankrupt institution it truly is.

"We have a freaking WAR going on!"

Yes, we do-...and?

Sure, there are obits and video bios, entire documentaries, already made and ready for when a celeb dies. Each network and tabloid wants to be the first to air it!
