Anything different about seeing a show during previews? |
No, unless they decide to replace someone, which happens rarely.
You actually stand a better chance of seeing the full cast during previews, because no one is on vacation, and they haven't rehearsed any understudies yet.

Also, the show will be frozen by then so you will be seeing the "real" thing.
The performances will still be fresh, although the actors might be tired you will never know the difference, because they haven't yet settled into the routine performances that can happen months later down the road.
I love seeing shows during press week and especially the final preview. Everyone is geared up for the opening, a lot of their friends/colleagues will be in the audience.
It should be a great show, and most likely, I'll be at the same performance!

The day before Opening Night will be considered a Press Preview, by which point the show will be "frozen," so you'll be seeing the final product, exactly what will be presented on Opening Night and the performances following.
