I have never seen WICKED, and most likely will not see it for many years. So I decided to read a copy of the libretto I found online.
Later, I found another copy on another site, but I noticed that a certain line was different: in the scene right before 'The Wizard and I', when Elphaba is accepted as Madame Morrible's student, the first libretto I read had Galinda standing shocked and saying:
"Something's wrong. I didn't get my way..."
However, in the second libretto, the same situation had the line:
"Oh well. This'll just make me a better person." (smiles)
For those of you who have seen the show, which line is it?
"Y'know, I think Bertolt Brecht was rolling in his grave."
-Nellie McKay on the 2006 Broadway production of The Threepenny Opera, in which she played Polly Peachum

"This will just make me a better person" was still in the show on Kristin's last day, I believe. The line was probably changed after she left. Maybe an ad-lib JLT threw in there that has stuck around.
"If it walks like a Parks, if it wobbles like a Parks, then it's definitely fat and nobody loves it." --MA
The "This will probably just make me a better person" line was dropped and changed after Jennifer Laura Thompson left the production (when Megan Hilty came in).
Just looked at a video, on the forbidden website, of Stephanie and Annaleigh's first performance and Galinda (Annaleigh) said "Something's wrong. I didn't get my way. I think I need to lie down." In another video, Kristin said the same line. Kristin just said "This will probably just make me a better person" for her last show.
Also, when I saw the tour in Pittsburgh in February 2006, I believe Kendra said the "Something's wrong" line.
