Is He Dead? $29.50

In this newly discovered Mark Twain comedy, the original master of American humor dishes out a sly critique of the art world with acerbic wit and social commentary well ahead of his time. Is He Dead? is a fast-paced play about a struggling artist who stages his own death to drive up the price of his paintings. As the riotous scheme unfolds, Twain poses daring questions about fame, greed and the value of art, and pokes his signature, mischievous fun at everyone involved.

Adapted by David Ives (All in the Timing), directed by two-time Tony Award winner Michael Blakemore (Noises Off) and starring Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Mark Twain's Is He Dead? is a landmark Broadway premiere and a chance to experience the never-before-seen

If there's no strike, I was planning to see the show the week after Thanksgiving and was thrilled to find $56 tickets. Can you elaborate on this TDF ticket price? Is it related to TKTS?

You have to work in the theater industry or be a teacher or student to qualify. (I think senior citizens may get a discount too but don't quote me on that.)

"A birdcage I plan to hang. I'll get to that someday. A birdcage for a bird who flew away...Around the world." "Life is a cabaret old chum, only a cabaret old chum, and I love a cabaret!"-RIP Natasha Richardson-I was honored to have witnessed her performance as Sally Bowles.
