"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
The picture of him carrying her with the mountains in the background is gorgeous.
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
What a great little article but I still have this panic attack of thinking Kelli married JAMES NAUGHTON instead... not that there is anythig wrong with it but he is a wee tad older then she is. LOL
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
All I got from the piece was that I now like Sherie Rene Scott even more, she introduced them! Nice article, cute love story.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
That was so increadibly sweet. I love that Victoria Clark and Harry Connick Jr were there. Congrats to the couple!
"I've always secretly longed for an actress to get to the top of the cherry picker and projectile vomit all over the guards below."- Wonderwaiter in the "Defy Gravity?" thread.

"I'll cut you, Tracee Beazer!!!!
...Just kidding. I'd never cut anyone." -Tina Maddigan, 9/30/06, WS stage door

I'm thinking about legally changing my name to Lizzie Curry...
Should end those ugly rumours during PAJAMA GAME. I wish Clark and Connick would sing at my wedding, oh wait. I am not allowed to get married. Best to them both and have some beautiful talented babies.
Lots of Broadway folk. Was Mr. Morrison in the house? Or, should I say the fields?
"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer
"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher
What a great article! I am glad they got married and I am very happy for them. I am glad they had little snippets about Victoria Clark and Harry Connnick, Jr. though I doubt they were the only Broadway actors/actresses there. She looked absolutely gorgeous and the pictures and landscape was beautiful!
thanks for the bigger picture! she looks stunning as always and he kind of looks like Prince Eric or something! :)
"Beating AIDS and extreme, stupid poverty, this is our moon shot. This is our civil rights struggle, our anti-apartheid movement. This is what the history books will remember our generation for--or blame us for, if we fail."-Bono
