i actually rushed this morning for the matinee. i got there at 9:15 and was the second person in line, and there were barely 10 people there by ten o'clock...seems like word isn't out to the tourist crowd yet about the policy change. seats were third row of the orchestra extreme right.
and i absolutely loved the show...i never saw it live and i thought it was amazing.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

I bought two student rush tickets for yesterday's performance when the box office opened at 10am. I was the first person there and easily walked away with two partial view front mezz row B tickets all the way on the right side (for the audience). Pretty good seats. Only missed the upstage left corner.
This was my first time seeing the show, and I was enchanted. Natalie Cortez was fierce, but her voice has been hit hard by this role. Her upper register was noticeably strained. Nadine was the alternate for Cassie and I was in love with Music and the Mirror. Her voice and dancing was spectacular, as was her acting during the "One" rehearsal scene. Jason Tam performed Paul's monologue with honesty, and I'm glad I saw him before he leaves on August 12. Overall, I am very impressed with the current cast and the show was well worth my time.
