I didn't know whether to post on the off-topic board or not, and there is no Jersey board so I decided it would go here.
So I know there are a lot of fans of BARE on this board and I wanted to let you guys know the FIRST regional production of BARE since its off-broadway run will open August 31st and the Edison Valley Playhouse in NJ. I am in the cast and we started rehearsals last week. It is going to be an amazing production, If I do say so.
I will post ticket info later on, but if you have any questions feel free to PM me.
I know there will be a lot of doubt as to whether or not this is really happening, but I garauntee you that it is. Check out the BARE myspace page, we have rehearsal pics up to prove it.
Congrats! This is very exciting. Where in NJ is the theatre?

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Yes, get your tickets! It's gonna be amazing. I am so mad that I am gonna miss it, but go go go! Anthony the director and producer has told me that everything is coming along wonderfully, and the cast is all very involved and excited about the show.
This just HAS to open two weeks after I leave NJ to go to college in Massachusetts ... I might catch a train down for a day because I'm dying to see a live production of this.

And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man."
Tim - Yeah I was definitely very surprised and impressed when I heard a regional theatre in NJ had nabbed the first rights. I'm sure you're having a blast and congratulations to the show. I'm sure I'd enjoy it if I saw it... alas the time-difference. I'm friends with Ryan (Male Swing, Jason u/s), give him my "hello" and break a leg.
