She was injured, apparently she hurt her foot or something, and was supposed to be out all weekend (but back starting Saturday to do supporting vocals from backstage). Sad to hear that she's still out. Hope she's back and better soon!
Is this show the next Chorus Line with all of the absences.

Yes... I saw Kenita on Sunday walking to the theatre and her left foot was in a cast... :o( Patti did a GREAT job filling in! Hopefully Kenita will be mended up by the time of Opening Night...

She was at the stage door tonight after the show. Her understudy was very good, but I do miss Kenita.
On a separate note, on Monday I was walking back from lunch, and I saw a hot guy with rollerskates walking toward the theatre. I heard him say to two ogling girls he was going to the show for rehearsal. I'm guessing the Carpinello incident has forced them to look into hiring some more skaters.
