*whew* Yes! Thanks for the update! I am preordering it this moment! Omigosh whoooooooo! The score for this show was totally amazing! IT'S ABOUT TIME!
I just "ran" the Utopia marathon yesterday and I loved the incidental music so this is happy news indeed.
And once again Amazon.com hasn't got a clue.

I am so buying this.
I wonder if it will be up for best score?
I presume that fantastic snippet they played at the Tonys every time the 'Utopia' crew went up for an award was from the show? Is the whole lot worth buying then? Does anyone own this yet? ^_^
I believe the Tonys snippet is the 1st track.
"Soundtrack"? So it's been made into a movie?
You'd rather it be called "cast recording" even though the cast aren't performing on it? :P
Maybe... I think soundtrack originally referred to the strip of sound recording that runs along a piece of film, so cast recording may be be a little more accurate. Hmm...
Guess I should have known that there was no cast on the CD since it's not a musical. Not sure what that would be called. "Incidental Music Recording"? :)
This is an odd one... Are there other instances of recordings for shows that aren't musicals?
If the music wasn't played live at the theatre, then SOUNDTRACK would be appropriate... as it is a series of tracks being played that were previously recorded. Was there a live band/orchestra in the theatre?
There was occassionaly a cast member playing the piano, or a few singing, but most of the music was pre-recorded.
