Who would be interested in getting together for a little karaoke? We could meet in person and spend an evening hanging out with people who share our disproportionate love of theater. I only mentioned karaoke because I know this one bar, 2nd on 2nd, on the Lower East Side, that has a huge Broadway collection of karaoke songs. Rent, Aida, Little Shop, South Pacific, Sweeney Todd, all kinds of stuff, and ever since I found this place I've been dying to go back with a bunch of musical fans.

So, who would be up for it? I don't have a date in mind (although it would probably be a Saturday night), I just want to see if there's any interest besides mine.

Oh, yeah, 21+ only, please, as it is a bar. And they do have a ton of other songs to sing if (God forbid) you get sick of Broadway.

And don't worry about talent. I can't sing either, especially when I'm drunk.

So? Anyone?

I think that actually sounds like a lot of fun!! I usually babysit most weekend nights, so, i'll leave it to anyone else as to specific dates...

It's absolutely frightening that I clicked on this thread, almost as if I could SMELL the word karaoke...

It's not my fault I can out-karaoke anyone.

You really don't want to subject yourself to my singing, esp. if I've been drinking. I seem to think I get better the more alcohol I consume.

If you're doing it around the end of March, I may be counted in. I'm hoping to get out there for then, and Broadway karaoke = BEST. :3
