I like the Beatles. I also like the Firehouse Five Plus Two. I like klezmer, Dixieland jazz, barbershop quartet music, and a lot of other music like that.

I think a part of the reason I'm drawn to Broadway is to have a story or a picture in my mind that the songs enrich - so outside of cast albums, I mostly listen to songs that were played in movies or in my favorite tv shows.

But I also love Nellie McKay, Phantom Planet, and all the old-timey jazz stuff.
