September 3 = What'd You Choose? |
Even if I hadn't already committed to seeing Sweeney, it would be no contest, with that the easy winner.
Spelling Bee. Because I already have my tickets.
(What IS it with that date this year?)

Well, a lot of people are choosing both Sweeney and Scoundrels.
Scoundrels is a 3:00 curtain and Sweeney is 7:00.
I actually did choose Sweeney.

Well, I'd say Lord of the Rings - just because I've never seen it and I've never been to Toronto.

Hands freaking down, Sweeney.

I've seen DRS and Spelling Bee, and have no desire to see Lord of the Rings. If I'd had the opportunity, I'd have been interested in seeing Sweeney Todd...so that would be my choice.
As it happens, I'll be in Florida and will see none of them.

seeing sweeney, and would've always been so.
as for sep 3, it's the last holiday weekend, so the beginning of the fall slump....

Theoretically, you can go to both DRS and Sweeney closing, since the former is a matinee, and the latter an evening show.
I'd say Lord of the Rings - just because I've never seen it and it seems to have good music. Out of the other 3, I'd see Spelling Bee, but only if I get free tix, I liked the show, but it's the kind of show I'd see only once(Bee), I wouldn't be caught dead at any of the other 2 shows(DRS or Sweeney)

Jeezus, for those who haven't bought tickets, you'd better count on your lucky rush/lotto stars to win/get tickets to BOTH shows! Twenty lashings with yarn if you don't!
I already have my ticket for Sweeney's closing. If I can get out of working in the morning on the 3rd I'll try to see DRS one final time as well.
tobiasragg I COMPLETELY agree with you. I am an LA girl too! I would choose Sweeney for sure.

I have seen sweeney twice, but I've only seen DRS once, so you'll find me at the Imperial on sunday the 3rd. Hope I see some other bww-ers there too!
...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...
Definitely Sweeney. I feel like such an idiot, because I probably could've gone the 3rd, but opted for the matinee next Saturday. No hotel and a minimum of 4 1/2 hours of driving might've had something to do with it.

Sweeney, undoubtibly! What I wouldn't give to be in the audience that night! *Sigh* Why? WHY must I live so far from New York?
OMG I'm sooo happy I don't have to choose between the two now. I was really thinking about it, but now Sweeney's last show is at 7 so I will be at both.
