I assume Hairspray is one of them, but what on earth are the other two? any guesses?

From EW.Com interview this morning:

"I've had offers. I'm going to be portraying Fred Astaire in an upcoming motion picture. I just got cast yesterday, but we're not sure if it's going to be a TV movie or a movie movie. I can't say any more about it yet, except that I just got cast yesterday as soon as the show ended. I've been approached by two sitcoms, a movie star wants to produce me in a show of his, and three different Broadway shows have offered me things. I guess we'll see what pulls me the most."

I'd love to see him on broadway, as well as a few of th eother contestants. It'd be great to have them bring that publicity and audience to what is an underappreciated art form...

Just my opinion.

Yes. Please put Benji in every possible role. He's a performer of performers, and something that the stage has been missing for a while.

I was just telling my sis during the finale, "Benji BELONGS on Broadway" I'm so glad he won

I'd love to see him and Donyelle and possibly Heidi in Hairspray. I doubt it cause they'd just be council, etc. and they'll probably get bigger offers but...I can dream, right? lol

Any idea what shows made offers? I wouldn't be surprisd if Hairspray did, but am unsure as to what else....

Can he sing? I would love to see him in a leading role! Heidi as well.

Mamma Mia, maybe? A Chorus Line (in the future). The Wedding Singer or Drowsy..? Mary Poppins? Hah, I have no idea!

So afraid of getting older

Just read in an interview that judge Dan Karaty is advising him to move to NYC and pursue Broadway...and that he's been approached by Wicked and Hairspray (Boq for wicked do you think? I wonder if he can sing)

Seriously, who do I write to rec him and Donyelle for Hairspray? Lol. I want them to do it so bad....almost as bad as I wanna do it and Tracy is my effing dream role, lol.

benji lacks the technique required of a lot of dancing on broadway. i'm sure he could pony his way thru hairspray, but that's about it.

travis, with technique out his butt, is the guy who should have won.

i'm sure fred astaire is rolling in his grave with the idea that benji will be portraying him in a movie.

Although I enjoy watching Benji dance, I can't think of one show that would suit his style. Not one. Dance in Broadway shows is not typically what you see on So You Think You Can Dance, and, of course, there are those tiny issues of acting and singing. I don't think this is going to happen anytime soon, if ever, considering they have a tour to do, and I don't know what his contractual obligations are to Celine Dion's show.

YAY for him! On Regis and Kelly he said he would be performing in Las Vegas with Celine Dion in her shows.

I would love to see him though. He is one fine dancer.

Isn't the Celine Dion contract one of the prizes?

Benji could probably step into the chorus for Chicago, Hairspray or Mamma Mia. Good for him. He's seems like a great guy. Is there a pool for when he flounces out of the closet?

Not sure if I came back and posted:

In another interview, Benji says that Wicked and Hairspray are among the Broadway shows he's been approached about...

I wonder for what exactly? I read he's pretty short and we know he's a lil dweeb, lol, - Boq possibly? He doesn't ahve to sing that much, but he also never dances....

I have been hoping for the entire season that he and Donyelle and Heidi would go be in Haispray after the show, lol.

does anyone else want to get a real Broadway choreographer in there next season? I'd love to see Jerry Mitchell up there - especially as ajudge, lol, giving feedback.

But like, him, Kathleen Marshall, Susan Stroman, Wayne Cilento...just a couple names to toss out there that I'd lvoe to have REALLY represent Broadway dancing, AND to be more of a contact to that aspect of dancing post-show...thoughts?
