With the rush of movies to broadway, I can't believe someone hasn't done "Under the Tuscan" yet. Seems like a natural.
The 1978 edition of "Hevaen Can Wait" or "Working Girl" but at the top of my list I would put "Jeane de Forette"/"Manon of
the Spring" and "Il Postino".

Newsies is a movie-musical, it has never been written for live theatre yet, though.

I was watching Anistasia the movie with my 5 year old niece and I think with some adapting and new songs it could make a really good musical. There are a lot of great songs.
