I think Amanda Peet, Brooke Shields, Patrick Wilson and some other actors should have been at the ceremony as presenters. They graced the stage this past year and they are hardly seen at the Tonys. Also Nathan Lane.

Maria Friedman should have been nominated so she could have been there. Also, I would have loved to see Donna Murphy there.
...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...
While watching the Tonys a group of us were discussing just this. And we realized that you never see Stephen Sondheim at these things. You would think that he would have been asked to present...maybe he was, but I don't even know if he was present in the audience, let alone presenting. And then when the Sweeney director made his speech he spoke of Sondheim as if he were dead. It's just interesting to think about...he's such a living legend.
He was there last year, he wasn't on Broadway this past season.

Sondheim is extermely shy. Don't get me wrong, he is very very nice, but also very humble and he does NOT like the limelight.

Oh yeah, Liza's Tony memory shouldn't have featured a clip of Halston who was the man who led her into the world of Studio 54. How about Kander and Ebb? They should have at least been mentioned.
Mandy Patinkin should have been there. I mean other than being represented in a cholesterol commercial.

Haha, Hal Prince should have been there. Im sure he can afford to take a day off and he doesn't need permission from a boss to leave Vegas.

I know I mispelled names, but bear with me. Also I loved the Joanna Gleason ad-lib about him being half crazy. That made my day.
