"You just can't win. Ever. Look at the bright side, at least you are not stuck in First Wives Club: The Musical. That would really suck. "

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...
"Every day has the potential to be the greatest day of your life." - Lin-Manuel Miranda
"And when Idina Menzel is singing, I'm always slightly worried that her teeth are going to jump out of her mouth and chase me." - Schmerg_the_Impaler
...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...
Totally agree with Horton.... I saw her three nights ago and she was the best performer I've seen on the Broadway stage (that shows you how little number of shows ive seen....sorta sad) But she was real good and david ayers when I saw him was not all that great.
Not to try and start a whole new topic but what song do you think Eden nails the most, I would have to say her rendition of "The Wizard and I".
Eden is amazing! I loved her on the Brooklyn soundtrack. And she is so sweet when I met her outside of Wicked!! It would be awesome if she was in Les Mis. I agree that David Ayers isnt that great. When I saw him in Wicked I was not impressed at all.
"For example, if I should paint my fingernails green -
and it just so happens I do paint them green. Well, if anyone should ask me why, I say: 'I think it's pretty!'"
Eden is one of my favorite singers ever. She has such a powerful voice!
"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999
I think Eden's No Good Deed is also amazing. But what is also amazing is how good she is even on the slow non belt songs (even when she is not blowing the house apart, they better be re-enforcing the Girshwin)
"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".

saw BKLYN 5 times and she just blew me away. The power in those lungs! Her Once upon a Time and Streetsinger were powerhouse numbers and just phenomenal. ... Cannot wait to see her in Wicked!
She's also a really nice person. I got to meet her several times after BKYLN and once she took me and my friend backstage for a personal backstage tour! It was only 2 weeks before BKLYN closed and she didn't have to do that (it was really spur of the moment too) and she was incredibly nice and sweet about it. What a great gal <3
I, personally, find her to be quite lovely onstage. Her vocals are always on when I see/hear her, and her acting impressed me greatly. I wasn't expecting much from her in "Wicked," but she really had me feeling for her character...something I didn't feel for Shoshana or Stephanie. I felt it for Idina, I'm glad it's back with Eden. Even my parent's like her, and they're a tough crowd to please.
Are you kidding me with this thread inundated with "swings"?? Obviously, this is some silly campain for her to be in Les Miz. If she does wind up in the show, it won't be because of THIS board.
Yes, but a swing started this nonsense. As for Eden, I think she's a bit old for the show and she's one of the only singers that makes me fear for her safety when she sings.
Seriously, she always seems like she's working very hard and about to hurt herself. Sure, she can hit all the high notes, but there's nothing warm or "pretty" about it.
