I'm just hoping that they extend Les Mis, otherwise I won't get to see it. They had better! I really want to see it.

I had already bought my ticket when it was announced he was joining the cast. That was just a super added perk.

Really though, anyone know what's up with the eyes?

Ooh, I just wanted to point out that I love his teeth.... They make up his wonderful smile which melts my heart.

And the other thing...I actually haven't ever met the guy. I'm too chicken.

I definitely agree with you on the multilingual appeal, Chrys. Multilingual men are so hot.

All I have to say is that Broadway.com video was great advertising. It suckered me back to the show tonight, and DREW WAS FABULOUS!!!!! Aaah! My heart is now officially bonkers for that charming adorable man. *sighs*

Link?

btw, Chrys, I'm too nervous to talk to these people! it took everything i had to stagedoor sweeney last week. i sounded so stupid! if patti wasn't sure, they would've needed smelling salts.

I've never had a problem with Michael cause I met him in such strange circumstances.

But with Drew...gosh, I just don't know. I mean, he's so fabulous and I'm sure he's such a dear. But, I just don't know what to say to him without sounding like an idiot.

Enjoy the show, Taboo! Drew has brought SO much personality to the revival that I just want to see it again and again. Plus, I'm kind of in love with the whole cast!

After reading the interview with Cuccioli on Broadway.com and watching that readlly great video of the show, I am compelled to go see it next week. I thought Drew was great in Lestat and wondered if anyone knew how long he plans on staying?

Also, has anyone gone the day of to get tickets and would have an answer to how any rush policy would work there? Thanks, I'm excited to go see the talent!

C, DO go and see the show. I PROMISE you won't regret it. As for the rush, I think's it's student rush only. They start selling them when the box office opens and they are 20 bucks in cash. An absolute BARGAIN. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the zipper theatre, but it's pretty small. I've never seen the show any where near sold out, so your chances of getting tickets right up to just before the show starts are great. There is no limited number they sell, and they pretty much just give you whatever they have available. The Zipper is such an awesome place. And Drew and Rob and Gay and Natascia and Eric are all fabulous!

Wow that is a great deal. I want to go next week, last one before school starts and I'm thinking of going with one of my best friends who leaves the same day as me. She and I will probably go on Wednesday and rush it.
Thanks for the help, I'm sure I will return here next week!

edit; grr I just searched and saw no Wednesday show. I'll try Saturday

Is that true Joanna? That's fantastic!

I just saw the show tonight (first row on the aisle, as per usual) and first off, the show is just as spectacular as it was when I saw it in previews. Even though I knew the tear-inducing songs would be coming up in Act II, and I thought I could prepare, but damn it if I was balling with Gay and Natascha. They are so damn good. And Robert made me cry! And the finale made me cry! I must have looked ridiculous...

As for Drew, what a great performance! While I enjoyed Rodney Hicks, there was always something that felt out of place with him in the show. But with Drew, it's much improved. It really feels "clicked" in now. I was actually hoping a big power ballad to hear him belt! It's a shame it's kind of the smaller role in the show, because I kept wanting him to just rock the house! But he did great with his material, and his energy and charisma were just incredible as well. And I got the best seat in the house for the semi-mooning at the end of "The Middle Class."

The show is better than ever, Drew is a great addition, and now I have to go once again! I just wish I was a student so I can do the rush.

(btw, I actually planned to stagedoor tonight, but I didn't know where it was...next time.)

for a mention of this thread's focus (and an inherent challenge) check out the Cuccioli interview thread on the main board.

Like C said, if you ever want to go again, I can get you a student ticket! :) And I haven't stage doored it yet either, so that could be fun.

And I agree with you 100 percent. I didn't really understand why Rodney was cast in the role, I just didn't buy it. But DREW brought so much to the group. He is beyond fabulous.

And in that Broadway.com interview with Rob, I love the mention of a fan throwdown. I love them both, so I wouldn't be able to choose sides!

There was a sheet in the lobby to sign about a cast recording. But it will be interesting to see what happens.

I just hope it runs till their contract is over, cause I've never seen that place very full.

Don't sit in any front center seats during Brel. Drew spit on me the entire performance. Bring a raincoat.

Have any of you asked him if/when he knows when he'll be going on as Enjolras?

Whoot! The thread's alive again.

So exciting that he's gone on as Enjolras, I wish there were some pictures of him in costume out there.

Hi there!

I learned you have a brochure of "Disney's Der Glockner Von Notre Dame" from 1999.

As a big fan of that production, I always wanted to learn about the orchestrations for the score, especially(How many Violins, Violas, Cellos, Brass, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, etc.)! So I can learn from them for how I can orchestrate my own shows someday.

Does your brochure contain information about the orchestra of that production?

If so, could you please scan the page, or at least transcribe the info, of the performers and what they played?

I'd really appreciate it! Thank you!
