Gee, it's a shame that it didn't get a good review. Perhaps with some work it'll make it.....

Ha! I do wonder if it'll transfer. It wasn't that long ago that Roundabout did their (rather underpowered) revival. Is NY ready for more COMPANY?

I thought that the chance of this transfering wasn't so good, since a Philharmonic production was announced for next year.

I simply just think it's too soon for a revival, It was just ten years ago since the Roundabout revival happened.

Plus the cut of TICK TOCK is turning me off a little from this Doyle production.

I nearly jumped out of my skin when I read what they say about him.

That is what I came to Ohio to see.

Glebb, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who was amused by that part.

Anyway, fantastic about the review. re: COMPANY in Cincinnati Review

I want it to transfer for the single reason that they would record Raul's "Being Alive" and "Marry Me a Little."

Although if I ever get to New York in my life, maybe that would be another reason.

"Plus the cut of TICK TOCK is turning me off a little from this Doyle production."

TICK TOCK is cut from the playing version of the show anyway. No great loss but I suppose it's horses for courses.

I'm guessing if Sondheim had wanted it to be back in, he might have asked for it - given his involvement in this production.

I'm sure TICK TOCK could've been added for a production like this. i am almost certain it will be in the Philharmonic production. Since they usually do the full scores. Their Sweeney had the Beggar Woman's Lullaby, which is rarely done.

Oh well, atleast amazing dancers like Donna and Charlotte got to perform TICK TOCK. Which I would imagine was stunning live with both ladies.

Uh... it's JACKIE DEMALINE giving the review. Sorry, but she sucks assssss. You're better off getting feedback from people on the forums.

Wow...that's a love letter to Raul, Doyle and the show as a whole.
Let's book an intimate theatre (maybe the Music Box?) and get this to NY.

I'm about a 3 hour car ride from Cinci, but I'm not able to make it down there while Company's running.

So close, but yet so far...
Honey, I don't produce theater. I am theater.

Oh, wow. I love the CityBeat review... even though it's a rave, it somehow strikes me as more honestly/perceptively written than some of the others.

Yeah, I'm a Cincy native, though I go to school 3 hours away. PitP usually puts on good productions, and I'm sure this is not exception. They won the tony award for best regional theatre 2 years ago.
