reading the other thread about the Les Miz revival, I remember reading somewhere when Cats closed ALW and CM saying something along the lines "it won't be away from here for long".

Considering how Les Miz and Cats were both pretty much tourist attractions for a long time, wouldn't be shocked if Les Miz becomes an open run and if Cats comes back relatively soon. What it's been 4 or 5 years???

I'd much rather a Sunset or Aspects revival, but I can't deny Cats has a bigger following

Yahoo to a CATS revival.
*ducks sharp flying objects*

Perhaps in its return, CATS would do better in a non-legit theatre. I think it only worked well at the Wintergarden in that environmental setting, the producers might do well to find a performance space that they can once again create the fantastic set.

Eh, a mooted West End return for Cats never came to fruition. Lets hope the pattern holds.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

I would love to see it come back. However, they would need to do something to top the original production and the costs were high in the late 70's early 80's; I can't imagine what it would be now.

As much as I love Cats (and I really do), I don't think it has been away long enough to warrant a revival. Give it a few more years.

Dean: Can I tell you something? Lorraine: That depends on what it is. Dean: I think you're really really pretty. Lorraine: (after a pause) Ok, you can tell me that.
