Although amazing performers such as Idina Menzel, Sherie Rene Scott, Mandy Gonzalez, Taylor Dayne and others have played the role, i think Lisa was the best one. Anyone agrees?

She. Was. Perfect.

I saw her, Sherie, and Felicia. They were all PHENOMENAL, but... Lisa wins.

I agree. She was absolutely stunning in the role. I love Lisa and I hope she is back on broadway very soon...in a hit show!

Sorry but I have to disagree. She was alright, but nothing more. Sherie gave that role life, she was the ultimate Amneris. When I saw Brescia I was a bit dissapointed. She sang all of the songs well but there was something about her that seemed old, too old for Radames, and they just didnt click. She was good, but not anywhere near Sherie.

I only saw Finley, and she was AMAZING! She was my favorite part of the show.

Lisa is such a great woman I'm sure she did well in that as well.

I had never even heard the music to Aida when I went to see the show. Needless to say, I was stunned from Every Story until the end with Lisa's voice. She was wonderful to meet after the show as well. I bought the cast recording the next day, and was actually disappointed with Sherie because Lisa was just so good! (Still a big fan of Sherie as well!)

She was the only Amneris I saw and I absolutely loved her. Although I do think Sherie is stronger on the recording, Lisa was a close second.

Hmmm...maybe I saw her on a bad day, but I wasn't thoroughly impressed with her when I saw the show. I did see her in "Last Five Years" though and she sounded amaazing in that.

She was the only Amneris I saw, but she was wonderful. Really great. And a great and genuinely nice person at the stage door. Really took the time to talk to everyone.

Lisa is so sweet! She came and talked to me on Closing Night of WIW!


EDIT: She has always chatted at the stagedoor, even when it was cold out!

I loved Lisa in WIW (I saw her go on as Marian) but did not like her at all in Aida. I loved Felicia in the role so much.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.
