Has anyone ever been to strawhat? They only give you 90 seconds to present a song and monologue and not knowing what shows these people are doing makes it difficult. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I am doing strawhats this year.. well waiting to see if I've been accepted for an audition that is but, you can actually go onto their website and type in your member information to see a list of what theatres will be present at this years auditions.. then you can see which theatre is doing what show because they have their seasons listed.
Hope that helps. PS it's also always good to sing an uptempo (Advice of Michael Levine aka SHEETS) because uptempos tend to show the whole package...plus a ballad is a ballad is a ballad.

Thanks Amneris. So are you just going to sing 16 bars of an up tempo and do a quick monologue?

If I get accepted to audition, I am planning on doing more like 36 bars I think it is? And a 1 minute comedic Monologue. best of luck to you!
