I like to pretend I can sing the songs from Wicked...
One of my favorite songs to sing (especially in the car or getting ready in front of a mirror) is "Rose's Turn" from Gypsy.
I, too, love "New Music" from Ragtime. I wish I had some idea of what was going on onstage so I can visualize it...

Tell Me On A Sunday - Tell Me On a Sunday/Song & Dance
Unexpected Song - Song & Dance
I Don't Know How to Love Him - Jesus Christ Superstar
I'm not all that big of an ALW fan, but a lot of his stuff feels good in my voice.

As far as songs that randomly get stuck in my head for excessive periods of time (but I don't mind, because I like them)...
Giants in the Sky - Into the Woods. I ALWAYS seem to have this tune in my head.
The Actuary Song - I Love You Because. I heard the song off of the demo recording on the website, and it pretty much hasn't left my head since. It's a fun song.

My current obsessions, some new, some old:
THE LAST 5 YEARS- The whole OCR will forever be playing in my head, lol.
Halloween- RENT
I Love You Because- I Love You Because
Another Saturday Night in New York- I Love You Because
Dirty Rotten Number- Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
