You can't. Just let it die - maybe post a message in it that directs posters to this one.

I loved DeLaria in Rocky Horror, and I've seen her live a time or two. You understand she's a bit of an acquired taste.

I love her!!!!! I didn't see Rocky Horror, but have the recording. I loved her "Eddie's Teddy". And she's in my favorite cartoon: The Oblongs.

I worked with her back in 1987 and she was very nice - But after the show there were many people saying that she complained behind my back so I was left not knowing what to think. I would have just wrote it off as gossip but when 4 different people come around with the same story there had to be something to it. Too bad too, I thought she was nice and I still wish her well. It's a rough business we call "Show" and I admire her triumphs.

Yes, as Eddie and Dr. Scott she is hilarious! Of all the bootlegs of The Rocky Horror Show that I've found, none them have her in them.

Is "The Obblongs" still on Cartoon Network during Adult Swim?

But her CD's "Bulldyke in a China Shop" (great tracks of her stand-up), "Play it Cool" and "Double Standards" are very good. Her voice has that old/classic sound to it, or maybe it's just me?

She's talented but her persona is completely grotesque. We get it, Lea---you're a lesbian. Now, chill, baby.

Don't buy a bootleg, bymyside. She's on the OBC.

the bootlegs she probably means videos. I haven't been able to find one with Lea in it yet either.

I love her in Rocky Horror and think she's hilarious in The Oblongs but that's all I really know of her.

Lea has recently moved to London to be w/ her music director GF. I believe in her talent, but she ripped off Steve & Eydie and that aint cool, darlin'.

I love Lea also. Met her on what was apparently a good day at Rocky Horror. For one thing, she was actually in the show that day. (I saw Rocky over 30 times and saw her only 3 or 4 times.) And she came out and took pictures. I think she is very talented but have heard horror stories (no pun intended) about what she is like behind the scenes.

Yeah, I remember hearing that Lea had an unreal number of absences in ROCKY HORROR. Anybody know what the story was there?

I'm also a big fan, I've seen her act here in LA at the Jazz Bakery and saw her in "The Boys From Syracuse", she's great, very funny and a great singer. In her act she did "Alone Together" and it was devastating. I would have loved to have seen her in "Once Upon A Mattress" and "On the Town", there are so many things she'd be great in. My favorite line of hers was "I love Mormons--they'll beleive anything" (I'm an ex-Mormon before anyone flames me). I've never met her personally.

But Garland Grrl, in what way did she rip off Steve and Eydie?

She lifts their lounge version of Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun. She should have to do a duet of Bie Mier Bist Du Shoen with Clay Aiken as punishment.

I like the "Play it Cool" album more than "Double Standards". Maybe it's because the orchestrations/styles are so different. However, her version of "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd" is awesome!

Lea's arrangement isn't the same as Steve & Eydie's. I can't get upset over that. Steve & Eydie did it as kind of a joke in the first place, but I think if it's a good song singers should do it. Just because someone else has sung the song before you doesn't neccessarily mean no one else can do it. Steve & Eydie got there first but Paul Anka has also done a cover of that song.
