"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Considering its a Wonderful World of Disney movie, I'd say B-.

I consider Cinderella the best out of the Wonderful World of Disney movies that they have done and Annie the worst with this one average. This one was very oddly shot in terms of musical numbers and had weird casting (Tracy Ullman?!) But I thoroughly enjoyed Carol Burrnet and Denis O'Hare!!

C. It wasn't exactly a good movie, but it was enjoyable.

B-.
Watched it with my young children, both of whom enjoyed the singing, but thought the queen looked scary and the prince and princess were too old. They enjoyed the songs, though. Both wanted to see more of the jester. I thought it was harmless and mildly entertaining. Would've benefitted from better sound editing, so the lipsynching actually synched.

I'd say a pretty solid:

"B"

The work is what it is - certainly not my favorite musical by any means - but I did like what Kathleen Marshall did with a LOT of the movie - especially the big dance numbers.

HUGE praise for Carol Burnett & Tracy Ullman (who I unexpectedly liked)

VERY NICE job by Matt Morrison & Dennis O'Hare (even if he was a bit mis-cast in the role.

But OMG LADY LARKIN was DREADFUL!

On a whole though - cute & good job!

They cut the Jester's part down to nothing, basically. He has a few songs in the stage version.

F -- Kathleen Marshall's choreography was HORRID. It looked like a junior high production. I LOVE Tracey Ullman, but she was miscast. And I was completely disappointed with her singing. For something that wasn't sung live, many of the performers were wavering around trying to find the pitch. I also LOVE Carol Burnett, but I think she was allowed to mug too much. The only thing I liked were the costumes.

Zoey Deschanel was the only bright spot in the whole show!

I say B+

Colorful, amusing and some lovely moments.

A solid, if not spectacular effort, keeping the TV-Movie Musical genre humming along.

I thought it was terrible. I was very disappointed with Carol Burnette and Zooey Dechanel as Lady Larkin was aweful.

I was very dissapointed with the cast and the direction as a whole. And the musical has never been one of my favorites anyway
