I'm gonna be up in New York for a college audition (January 28th) and I want to see a play later. Which play should I see?

I'm seeing Doubt later on a school trip during Spring Break, so that's not an option and it's probably impossible to get tickets to The Odd Couple.

I'm thinking about Barefoot in the Park (I've never seen a show during previews -- any additional thoughts on that?).

(not that I'm prejudiced in any way...)

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

ooh, thats my birthday, I'll be drunk in Vegas losing lots of money, but you should see Souvenir (if it's still open) or barefoot.

when ducks grow thumbs then maybe my opinion will change.

Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

Pillowman is good.

I haven't seen it yet, but Seascape is a classic.

I'd see Seascape (love Edward Albee) but it'll be closed when I'm in New York.

It's between Dog Sees God... and Barefoot in the Park.

A Trip To Bountiful is the best play in New York right now. And, at $15 a ticket, an absolute steal.

A Touch of the Poet is also quite good, as are Abigail's Party and Souvenir (provided it's still open). Updated On: 12/12/05 at 10:51 AM
