I saw WIW on Friday 11/25 Matinee. It was incredible even though Maria and Jill were not performing. Lisa Brescia as Marian was flawless. Her voice PERFECT! The projection scenery is remarkable and clever. I can't wait to see it again. Is Maria Friedman going to out of the show to undergo chemo?

As I understand it, Maria will only do one show on two performance days. In some of the articles that came out around the time of her return to the show, they said that she didn't know yet if she would need chemo or not. She is supposed to start radiation sometime in the near future though.

That's my understanding too. That's what the man at the box office told me. But who knows how accurate his information is. He said it would be for "the forseeable future"

Darn. That means I probably won't be seeing her when I go to the matinee on 12/17.
