Ah, I love it! And I've only read the first 2 paragraphs. Rodney! And he got an award! Yay!

Finished it. I love that they focused more on him and not on Rent. When it comes to Rent exclusive stuff, I feel like my brain is turning to mush from over-exposure.

Very cute.
I love how it focused on a normal night.

Wow, I never realized people could actually be allergic to alcohol. I thought that was just an excuse people gave for not drinking. Okay, I'm officially slow.

skittles, you can be allergic to almost anything. I actually might be allergic to alcohol; I just found out yesterday that it's possible. Great!

Ugh, that sucks. I know you could be allergic to a lot of foods, I've had to deal with kids having a wide variety of allergies. (Is there anything that DOESN'T have gluten in it?!) I just didn't realize that alcohol would have the same problem, since it's created from so many different sources.

Yeah, people sort of assume that it's difficult to be allergic to. It was fun having to tell my allergist I had an allergic reaction after trying my friend's screwdriver. And I *never* drink. Figures that it happened then!

This one little boy I taught in Sunday school when he was 2 started having an allergic reaction once. It freaked the other teacher and I out, because we didn't know what he had eaten. He had just recently gotten into the classroom, and we kept asking him if he had eaten anything, but he couldn't talk.

We ended up having to call an ambulance because his epi-pen didn't help. It turns out that a family friend had brought him to church that morning and one of their children had been eating peanut butter crackers nearby. JP didn't even eat them, he was just in the presence of peanut butter and he ended up having to go to the hospital. It was so insane.

Yeah, so basically Anthony's nearest and dearest get to pick on him for his choices of food and clothing and to resent him publicly for getting attention at the RENT premiere. Rather than, you know, the boyfriend, who should, you know, really get attention. Which, if anybody looked at the GettyImages, he did. I can just IMAGINE how that came to happen.

I'm allergic to peanuts; it's scary sh*t.

*shrug* I thought they were poking fun, but not in a nasty way. I don't want to make any personal comments aside from that, but I think the article read from a bit of a funny angle in some spots.
