Heard back from Christy Altomare and it was so sweet! Wanting to send to Derek Klena and Ramin Karimloo does anyone know if they respond?

I got a reply from Derek Klena in about a month, and I saw a poster on here who heard back from him in two weeks. So he's definitely very responsive, the response time is just a the luck of the draw :)

I wrote to Ana about 2 months ago, and haven't heard back yet, so I don't know if she responds.

I've haven't written to Ramin yet.

Also, as a follow-up to what I said about Ana Villafañe, I have a friend who got a reply from her after 6 months, so it could take any amount of time, I think.

Do you think if I sent my cd insert to each cast member they would sign it? Or is it to risky to not get it back? Also still need a address for Sweeny Todd.

The address for Sweeney Todd is:

And it might be risky sending you CD insert to all of the cast members. Some cast members don't answer fan mail and some do. If you send something you want to be signed, it has to be something that's not very personal to you.

Has anyone ever written to someone at the Pantages Theater in LA? If so, what address did you use? I'm thinking about writing to Rory O'Malley while he is there with Hamilton and want to make sure that I have the correct address.

Hi Everyone,

I need some advice. My dad was a Comet singer and so in June, he sent the CD jacket, a Sharpie and a $75 cashier's check donation BCEFA, along with a SASE to the appropriate address. For two months he didn't hear anything back, but today it arrived UNSIGNED, but the cashier's check was cashed. As a matter of fact, he had tracking on it, so he was super excited that the CD jacket was on it's way back to him. 

We are huge supporters of the show and often donate to BCEFA, but it definitely feels bizarre that this is how things happened. Any advice on how to proceed? With the show closing, there doesn't seem like there is much that can be done, but I'm hoping someone might have some words of wisdom either way.

First things first, did your dad also send a letter asking for the cast to sign it? Something like this has happened to me where I forgot to ask the stage manager to have the cast sign something.

Good question! He did include a small note explaining that he was a Comet singer and would appreciate the time the cast would take to sign the keepsake.

For the first time (at least in English), I'm writing some fan letters, specifically to some of the Groundhog Day cast.

My first goal here is just to express to the cast how much I love the show and what it means to me.  With my past viewings and stage door experience, I'm lucky enough to have a signed Playbill *and* a signed window card.  But reading some of the stuff here, I'll admit that it would be cool to get something back from the cast . I have one extra blank Groundhog Day Playbill.  Should I definitely send it with a SASE to one of the actors if I want it signed, or want any form of response?

Maybe you can try sending it again? But this time, don't send a donation. I believe some shows sign things without donations before they close and give out cast-signed Playbills if you ask before they close.

If you only want one cast member to sign it, you can do it either way. Send the playbill or send a letter asking for one from them. The SASE is the important thing.

It is also possible that they may not send back the playbill you sent, but instead one that's been pre-signed, perhaps by everyone.  Just FYI, if you don't want to risk not getting that specific Playbill back, don't send it.
