I just thought it would be interesting to see. And I don't mean community theatre or high school or regional. I mean like Broadway or Broadway national tours.
I can honestly say that there is no Broadway tour or Broadway show I have seen that I haven't liked. Of course, there are ones that I have preferred over others. I liked Les Mis and Aida and RENT more than The Music Man or Little Women, but I have truly enjoyed every show I have seen. Maybe I'm just not that critical or something, but I don't know if that's very common or not.

I'm usually a fairly good judge of what I'm going to like and what I won't (mostly so that I don't waste my money), but probably the closest thing to disliking a Broadway show I've ever come is DRS.

i may get shot for this.... but i didn't really like the producers. all the hype and excitement i heard about it was really a let down because i expected it to be so extravagant.
maybe it was because i saw Wicked with Idina and Kristen the day before i saw the producers
The chandelier falling was a fantastic effect only because it woke me up and reminded me that I shouldn't be sleeping through the show.
Seriously, it was a fine effect but I had seen helicopters landing on stage before the chandelier. It's even worse now given the effects in some shows.
i've liked every show that i've seen except for (i'm gonna get killed for this too) Avenue Q. Yes, it was funny, but i felt that it was too inappropriate. They can get a point across without the vulgar actions and words.

Patronus, I agree with you 100% . . . I just did not get all of the to do about the show. I thought POTO was more about spectacle than music. And, I am not an ALW fan to begin with . . .
And, in a move I am sure will offend, I really did not like Cats. Some of the music was nice, and I know that it is an analogy to life and all, but get over it, they are cats. I saw it when I was younger, so who knows, maybe my view would change, but I just thought it was pretty silly.
I absolutely despise jukebox musicals. Any at all. The storylines are so far-fetched. In my opinion a Broadway musical's songs should enhance the plotline, not create it.

Yeah, I am not into jukebox musicals either, but I really doubt I'd see one unless the cast was one I loved (ie Lennon).

As far as Woman in White goes, I've listened to the CD and so far have not found any value in it. Maybe I'm wrong but I almost think Andrew Lloyd Webber's legacy got this show on broadway, not the show's content. Then again, I guess it did well in London???
