So I tried typing craigcarnelia.com into my browser just to see if he had an official website (websearch came up with nothing) and I was automatically directed to www.jimvukovich.com. How weird is that? I smell foul play! Jim, what have you done with Craig? Or are you simply flirting with me?
"What can you expect from a bunch of seitan worshippers?" - Reginald Tresilian
I'm not sure if Jim's still around (I'm sad to say I haven't seen him around here much) but I think I remember this...
Mr. Vukovich bought many of his friend and accquaintances domain names as a protective measure some time back. It was a response to many unofficial sites making themself look official by registering the acutual domain name. He was providing the domains to the actual people, if they wanted them. If not, they just refer.
I spoke with Jim last week. He's doing great. Still touring with Hairspray and keeping himself busy with other projects. He just doesn't come around the board very often.
And yes, CKeaton, you are correct. Jim's just a cool guy that way.
And Dame, you'll have to go through me first.

awww I wish Jim would post here more often...I would also love to meet him when the Hairspray tour comes to my town...
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
Very simply put - On the homepage of my very outdated website, it explains that I've purchased MANY domains of those friends, family and colleagues that were still up for grabs. I've done it for years. I've never sold any for a profit. That's not my intention. I've had craigcarnelia.com since before we worked together on "Imaginary Friends". I owned marcshaiman.com until I recently gave it to him. Can you imagine if his domain had gotten into the wrong hands? You'd be amazed at some of the domains I own. Please don't start asking me who. I won't take the time to answer those questions.
Yes, I'm still happily employed by Hairspray (into my 3rd year - EEK - - I mean cha-ching!). We're currently playing Washington DC at the beautiful Kennedy Center but enough about me, I'm going back to my bat cave now.
